This track is inspired by the Maori song 'Tarakihi' which means 'Song of the Cicada' . The guitar is prepared with a hairvclip inserted between the strings to create a buzzing cicada-like sound.

This album is made up of soundtracks from a virtual video recital performed by Bruce Paine during the Covid-19 lock-down in Auckland, New Zealand.

The program opens with seven traditional Catalan folk songs arranged for classical guitar by the world famous Spanish guitarist Miguel Llobet Solés.

The remainder of the program features original guitar works composed by Bruce Paine.
